#FREELATIFA LETTER TO MARY ROBINSON

Tiina Jauhiainen writes inviting Mary Robinson to open dialogue with her team. Today a letter was sent to the former Irish Prime Minister and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Mary Robinson has recently changed her position on Dubai and its Ruler’s treatment of Princess Latifa. She was cruelly tricked by Sheikh Maktoum and is no in full support of the #Freelatifa Movement

Tiina writes “I am overwhelmed to learn of your commitment to focus on the safety of Latifa and Shamsa, and I look forward to working in parallel with you to secure their urgent freedom.”

The letter continues to identify her formidable array of lawyers and stalwarts of Human Rights. “From our side, it would be Alun Jones QC, Rodney Dixon QC, myself, David Haigh and Latifa’s cousin Marcus Essabri.  The aforementioned QCs have been working for Latifa since 2018 and were personally appointed by her once we achieved contact in 2019. In addition, we have been fortunate to benefit from the support of Ken Roth.  I’m sure he would be willing to join any such call if it would be of assistance.  We are also about to expand our team with some additional leading human rights lawyers, which is very encouraging.  Part of their role, which we can detail further on a call, will be perusing various “Magnitsky” style sanction requests in several jurisdictions, including Ireland and the UK, together with criminal complaints in the same jurisdictions under universal jurisdiction rules.”

Miss Jauhiainen goes on to identify their common ground and confirms she is looking forward to working with Mrs Robinson. “In the interest of our common goal, we believe it would be prudent to keep you apprised of key developments from our side if this would assist? As such, we would very much like to brief you on the additional evidence we have just provided to the UN.  Further evidence we are yet to provide and notably concerning Shamsa and the Cambridgeshire police investigation.  Additional evidence we intend to file in due course.”
